In The Snow + I Broke My Camera

Today's post includes some pictures that I took a few Saturdays ago but couldn't upload because the USB cord for my camera was broken. So I got a new USB cord and finally downloaded these pictures to my computer last week. But yesterday, I was at the mall with my friends and I kinda sorta accidentally dropped my camera on the ground and broke it. Whoops. So now I probably won't be posting anything until A) I get my camera fixed or B) I get a new camera. There's also the possibility that I won't purchase a new camera and then I would end up taking pictures with my iPod or I would end up quitting blogging altogether. Oh well.

What I'm wearing: black coat, Forever 21 dress, Isaac Mizrahi sheer top, Claire's hat, Forever 21 pink tights, black tutu, and black ankle boots.

So I went to Forever 21 and bought these pink tights and then when I put them on for this photo shoot (and it was my first time putting them on) my toe nail like ripped them and now there's this giant rip up the side of my new pink tights. My toe nail isn't even that sharp (or long). I blame Forever 21 for making tights with the thickness of tissue paper.

And in case you want to know what my friends and I look like when we're hanging out at the mall...

This is like my favorite picture in the whole world. It's in black and white because we decided that things look better in black and white.

Grey Grey Grey

Hey guess what? I'm back! Actually I haven't been away. I've been on Twitter and Tumblr and Wanelo and basically everywhere else on the internet but here because the USB cord for my camera was broken so I couldn't upload pictures. So that's why I haven't been posting (and I also haven't really felt like it).

What I'm wearing: mint green tights from Forever 21, shoes from Forever 21, grey skirt, grey sweater from Forever 21, and grey jacket.

I took these pictures quite a while ago, like the first or second weekend in January. Anyways, happy Valentine's Day, unicorns! Yesterday was our last basketball game which I'm kind of sad about but we have tournaments next Wednesday so I suppose it's not totally over. And of course I'll be the stat/film girl next year (and the next, and the next). It is my favorite thing to do. 

Well adios, unicornios. Enjoy the rest of your Valentine's Day. I hope you get plenty of chocolate.

Ugh, As If!

As you might have guessed by the title of this post, I watched Clueless last night. So today's post is all about Cher, Tai, and Dionne's fabulous outfits.

Tai, Cher, and Dionne all look fabulous here but I also kind of love Amber's stripes and floral ensemble in the background.

I love Cher's outfit here. As for Tai's, I'm not a big fan.

I loved this outfit of Cher's! With the vest over the shirt over the skirt, it's all just so fabulous!

I also love love love this outfit. Plaid seems to be Cher's favorite print.

Party at Gatsby's!

"Gatsby?...What Gatsby?"
That is a quote from The Great Gatsby, my latest obsession and source of inspiration for today's post.  It all started a couple weeks ago when I saw the trailer for the movie, which comes out May 10. I started reading the book but then gave up about three fourths of the way through and just watched the original movie from 1974. The movie was so awesome that I read the book from the beginning and loved it. So today I took inspiration from Daisy Buchanan, the leading lady in the Great Gatsby, and the fabulous fashions of the roaring 20's. If there's one thing that bothers me about Gatsby, it's his obsession with Daisy. I just think he deserves better.

What I'm wearing: vintage dress, fur coat, and shoes.

Throughout the whole movie, I was like, "OMG! Look at her hair! And the dresses! It's all so fabulous!" The Great Gatsby is a fantastic movie and I recommend that you log onto Netflix and watch it right now. Or boot up your Kindle and download the ebook or even go to the library and check it out.     It's worth it, I promise.
